I won two cool sets at a blog hop!

Thank you Cutting Cafe! They recently had a Blog Hop and I was so excited to find out that I had one two sets! I made this really fun card using something from each set.  The cute little witch is from the "Being a Good Witch" Printable Stamp set that I won from the Blog of Krista Bella and Aidee's Mom . It is a really cute stamp set with TONS of options. I was a tiny bit concerned about printable stamps smearing, but you just set them with a heat embossing gun once you print them. Perfect!
The other set I won was from Karen, Karen's Kreative Treasures and she was giving away the Milk Carton Cutting Files and the Milk Carton Sentiments. They are very cute and what a fun way to hand out treats for a child's party or a holiday!
Thanks so much to Regina Easter and The Cutting Cafe design team and especially to Karen and Krista!
God Bless!

a new twist

I was looking at a friends blog, Creative Paint and Paper and she had made a vertical paper bag album, 12" tall... I loved the idea and made one myself! I stacked my bags (6) and then bound them, two at a time, with 12" long strips of cardstock using my ATG gun. I then made a chipboard cover out of a piece of heavier chipboard I got in a  pack of paper. I measured the thickness of the stack of bags and then made the cover the same depth in the middle using my cutter to score the folds (gently! Not too deep!).
This is how it looks from the outside.
And here is the inside. I alternated the flaps and sometimes used them and sometimes I didn't. If I wasn't going to use them, I glued them down.
The cover has bits of lace, flowers, pretty things!
You can use the gussets on the bags to insert flaps, make pockets, anything creative you can come up with!
On this page I did use the flap and made it into a pocket. The large tags fit into the pocket.
I made pockets for both pages. ;o)
At the top of the left page there is a flap that i glued into the gusset of the bag, It has room for a photo on the outside and two more photos inside.
Th flap at the bottom left closes a pocket inside that page. There is a 6x12 photo mat inside of it.
The two frames I have in the album (one at the top of this left page) both have the tops left open so that a picture can be inserted.
Have fun, take the idea and run! I would love to see what you make!
God Bless!

ABC and 123!

The new paper lines from Graphic 45 are just beautiful! Christmas Emporium and ABC Primer are full of the vintage details we all love and the colors are wonderfully rich. My project is made with ABC Primer and I also used some of the Die-Cut Chipboard pieces.

Some of the chip tags are hanging together on the left tied together.

The chipboard letters on this page are from K & Co., I found two pretty new lines, Life's Journey and Ancestry.com. Both have a great vintage look.
I like the look the tea dyed tags add, they add a lot of texture.
The images on these papers are just lovely, they make me wish I had seen the real ones!
There is a piece of twill ribbon on here that I have had for several years. I wish I had more, it is perfect with this line!
Look at the depth and colors in this artwork! It looks very real.
I used the paper flowers from Prima that you put together yourself, I thought they look more "vintagey" than the newer more realistic ones would have. Pretty colors worked together to give this whole album a warm, old fashioned feeling, I think. I have a new type of album I am working on, pictures soon!

God Bless!
