Funky new album....

I made this little album out of some chipboard and some card stock. It has a number of extra flaps to lift and some odd little places for photos. It ended up looking for all the world like a little journal (with a really pretty cover thanks to Pink Paislee's Butterfly Garden). This is a fun blend of altered art and vintage funky, it was fun to do. Some of the images are from Crafty Secrets, the beautiful flowers are from the wonderful store Wild Orchid Crafts, papers are from a number of different sources- Graphic 45, Pink Paislee, Webster's Pages, and odds and ends from others. I purchased the two vintage postcards on EBAY, of course!Thanks for taking a peek! God Bless, Renee

A couple of cards today... Pretty colors, pretty details! I love the colors in both of these, soft, sweet pastels, FLOWER colors!!! And laces and ribbons...all things soft and feminine! I lined the envelopes, a very easy thing to do and it adds such a pretty touch. I have to say I really use my Scor-pal a LOT when I am making cards, it make the folds so much easier. I debated the expense, but it makes cards so much easier and it has gotten a lot of use. It was a great buy! Thanks for taking a peek... God bless you always, Renee

there is a chill in the air...

I know it is temporary, but wow! I am very very tired of hot weather. It has been cool enough in the evenings to have the windows open some, I can't say I have been chilly yet, but I will take cool with a smile on my face. That is kind of what inspired this album. I was just so excited to think ahead to fall! Pumpkins, Autumn breezes. Harvest time. Back to school. Thanksgiving!!!! (I am thinking fresh rolls, pumpkin pie, roasting turkey.....YUM.) Anyway a peek at some of it: I learned a little something making this one... Plan your pages out ahead of time... and mark them, lightly, but mark them with your plan for the page. I had planned to put a Halloween page in before the Thanksgiving one and accidentally started the Thanksgiving one instead. Too late! As the albums are sewn together, it wasn't fixable. The album turned out lovely and I don't really like Halloween so it was ok- just not my plan! If anyone has any ideas on how to change a booboo like that, I am ALWA
