After a bit of a hiatus I have an album to share with you. It is a wedding album that I made for a friend to give as a gift. The colors are soft and pretty and this paper collection was just perfect. It is from Carta Bella, Rustic Elegance and I think it is beautiful. I really like the images and style, a little bit vintage and a little bit country. ;o) Just perfect!
I hope you are getting the time to do something rewarding this weekend! God Bless!
I know. I am awful at posting. The truth is I just haven't had a lot of time to make things. I have finally got a new album to show you, a pretty one in soft pastels with all of my favorite things like ribbons, lace and flowers, of course!
I love this new line from Graphic 45, it is just stunning! The colors are amazing, soft and delicate, the images are beautifully "vintagey" and oh so sweet to work with! As I am a bit of a flower nut, this is right up my alley! Hope you like it!
this little album was great fun! I really liked the Echo Park papers and decided I needed to make something whether I had time or not! The result is fun and cute!
The cover has an opening at the top to slide in a photo, and some pretty embellishments! There are several sets of pages and the colors are beautiful and bright. A bit of whimsy, a bit of silly and fun! It is a great mix for many kinds of pictures!
The second one is made with Webster's Pages papers and is a Christmas album, not your usual one, but a bit more femine, with delicate florals and pretty soft colors....
This turned out so pretty... I really liked the embellishments I found for the front, the candy was a perfect addition. It added just the fun touch I was after. These papers are just stunning and the light pretty colors are wonderful at Christmastime!
Thanks for taking a peek!
I just have not had much time at all to create! I did work this week on a two page layout. It has been a very long time since I had done a layout so this was lots of fun!
A lot of things I used are from Basic Grey's new line Persimmon. My favorite is the wooden die-cuts. They are really like wooden tags, balsa wood I believe (but I am surely no expert!). I found them to be curled slightly and that was sort of a pain, but once glued down to the card stock they are fairly flat. They are a fun design element.
This Autumn tag is one of the pretty wooden tags from Basic Grey.
All of the elements on these pages are just an interesting collage of things I have collected and saved. There are lots of shoe sized boxes all over my desk filled with oodles of little found things. They find their way into a layout every once in a while. A new home!
God Bless You!
