Chipboard, anyone?

A new adventure...chipboard album, 8x8, fun, larger...stretching my little wings! This is a ring binder album, with 6 tabbed pages. I covered the pages in paper, and then did each layout, one by one.

Elegant Prima papers and album (and some FABULOUS teaching by one of their instructors!) makes for a fun album cover.
Mulberry flowers, beautiful butterflies and LACE! Perfect!
Doesn't turquoise look so much happier with yellow? I think so!

I love these two pages... shabby, vintage fun.

These papers (Webster's Pages) are just beautiful! I love the colors...
I think these should smell wonderful, but alas, no scent at all.
I really like the flowers I found at Wild Orchid Crafts, they look so real.
This country fence was just a fun little thought. I have used my Cricut to cut out fences before and they were adorable and looked great, BUT this is a real wooden fence! (Maybe for fairies???)
THis cute little wooden fence was in the Christmas section at Hobby Lobby... it was really meant for decorating one of the Christmas villages! It has been re-purposed in a fun way!
These Prima flowers have been in my collection for years. I Glimmer Misted them for a bit more color.
These are some new muslin flowers coming out by Prima. LOVE THEM!!!
Some of the new items coming out after CHA are so fun- Mistables, lots of fun new flowers by lots of companies,(how about the new BAsic Grey flowers! WOW!), beautiful papers, lots of wonderful new things for me to add to my little shop. ;o) How to pick and choose....
Have a blessed week....

A layout ! Paper Piecing is FUN!

These little dinosaurs were really just plain old FUN to make. I used the designs from the papers  for them and just cut , inked, and glued to my hearts content.
Wouldn't he be cute in an aviary on the porch??? I think so too.
And I think this little guy wandering around in the back yard would be adorable. Of course, we would have to teach him to swim!
Even the greenery, palm fronds, grasses and rocks were fun.
I know! I haven't made one in ages! I agree, it was time. I enjoy making layouts, I just tend to agonize a tad over the details. This one was right up my alley and stars some cute dinosaurs. I really like the papers from MME and have had this set for a while just waiting patiently in a paper drawer for me to take them out and play. I hope you are inspired to get out some papers you have had waiting a while, or a new tool you haven't gotten around to learning to use (like my Zutter!) but REALLY want to play with... it IS summer! Cut loose and do something different TODAY!
I would love to see some pictures and ideas of what you create!
Have a wonderful week creating!
God Bless,

Beachy Fun

Hi fellow summer fun-lovers! I had fun making this. Even though my vacation this year was in the snow, I thought a beachy album would be fun. I love the colors in these bright papers and just putting it together made me want to slip into my suit and head for the water!

This cute fish is one of the chipboard pieces from Tattered angels. I inked with several color-box colors, and then covered the whole thing with Glimmer Glam in Chandelier for some shine ( a wet look) and some sparkle... it turned out cute. I have used other products for a wet look and the Glimmer Glam dries MUCH faster. I was impressed with how fast it was ready to use.  FYI that fish paper is one of my all time favorites too- it is from Scenic Route's Grafton Line, Wharf Street.Bright, pretty paper, nice design work.
Thanks for looking...
Have a blessed week!
